Hartway Galvanizers Naval Base

The Naval Base plant is on 10 acres of land designed to offer a large laydown area for project work. All steel work including cradles can be quickly unloaded by forklift or gantry crane keeping downtime to a minimum.

The galvanizing bath is 12.6 metres long by 1.4 metres wide and 3.0 metres in depth; making it the deepest bath in Australia. With the tanks configured differently to the Canning Vale factory lengths of 21 metres and widths of 5.6 metres may be galvanized by double end dipping.

This factory uses the latest technology to ensure high environmental standards are achieved and EPA requirements are bettered throughout the galvanizing process. It has the capacity to galvanize 2000 tonnes per month.
